What Is A Portable Bidet?

Have you ever heard of a bidet?

If not, you are missing out on a whole new experience of cleanliness for your bum area. A bidet is a type of sink that is intended for washing your sensitive areas such as the butt, genitalia, anus etc. It is typically installed in the bathroom and is very popular in some European and Asian countries such as Japan. In fact, Japan is known for their exceptional cleanliness and personal hygiene practices. No wonder their life expectancies are one of the highest in the world. Traditionally, bidets look like toilets but they actually work like sinks. However, there are bidets that attach to ordinary toilets.

Keep in mind, while these amazing products can increase cleanliness but are meant to be used with soap, after toilet paper has been used. So with that being said, what is a portable bidet? Well before we get into that, let’s go over some other standard forms of bidets before touting the amazing benefits of portability with the cleaning experience of a tradition bidet.

Conventional Bidet:

Conventional bidet is a located beside the toilet toilet. It is a separate area to wash after you go.

A conventional bidet is a separate unit in the bathroom from your shower, toilet and sink. Users will straddle over the fixture that squirts a jet or stream of water in your butt. Some of them have hand nozzle attached as well. It’s basically a sink for your butt.

Add On Bidet:

Add-On bidet attaches to your toilet. It is a cheaper alternative to a conventional bidet

This newer type of bidet was invented due to the hassle of having to install a completely new plumbing unit for traditional bidets. These new type of bidets are often no longer standalone units. They are attached to the toilet on the back or side rim. In this case they are used strictly for cleaning the anus. Some add on bidets shoot a vertical water jet and others have a nozzle attached for more versatile cleaning.

All In One Combo Toilet Bidet:

Combo Toilet Bidet is a toilet with a built in bidet

This is an all in one toilet bidet. Essentially, it is traditional toilet with a built in bidet. The high end versions are electronic and include some cool gadets such as temperature control, blow dryer, etc. However, these high end gadgets come at a steep price. Some of these units can cost as much as a couple hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars per unit. That is a lot of money for a clean butt. Luckily, we have an alternative butt cleaning solution that is significantly less expensive provides the same cleaning experience. The portable bidet.

Portable Bidet:

We at Osprayhygiene have created what we call the “portable bidet”. One of the biggest drawbacks to regular bidets besides the price, is that they aren’t portable. Your home isn’t the only place you have to poo. If you are like us you probably poo in multiple places such as work, the local grocery store, mall etc. Public restrooms are notorious for being super dirty and worse of all having terrible toilet paper. Our portable bidet solution solves this problem. It is a 4oz bottle of micellar cleansing water specifically designed to cleanse your butt. Yes, it is butt cleansing water. All you need to do is spray it on dry toilet paper and you have created an instant wet wipe. But how does it clean your butt and what makes it different from using regular wet wipes?

The magic of Ospray is in the micellar technology of the water. What is micellar cleansing water exactly and why does it makes this product so special? Well the answer is pretty simple, micellar water is made of micelles. Micelles have an oil-loving ‘tail’ that traps dirt, oil, and makeup and a water-loving ‘head’ that allows the micelles to dissolve impurities so they can easily be wiped away. The micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, which remove impurities while keeping the skin hydrated. In other words, Micelles act as magnets for dirt and oil. Again, you can imagine how this technology would be useful for the wiping your butt and how it is different from using regular plain jane water to clean.  If you are currently using dry toilet paper, Ospray is an instant upgrade for your anal hygiene at a significantly lower price than a bidet or wet wipes.
